Foamit invests in factory modernization in Sweden
Foamit invests EUR 1.4 million in a new, state-of-the-art drying technology at its manufacturing facility in Sweden. With this strategic investment, Foamit continues to enhance its operational performance and modernize the production lines.
The new drying system reduces processing time and optimizes energy usage. In addition, the upgraded technology will reduce maintenance costs and enable the company to better meet growing customer demands while maintaining high product quality standards. The modernized equipment also feature improved automation and reduced manual handling, which enhances workplace ergonomics and safety.
“This investment is an important step in modernizing our factory in Sweden, the biggest market in the Nordics, and it helps us achieve our strategic growth goals,” says Erja Sankari, CEO of Foamit Corporation.
“This marks one of the largest investments made at our Hammar production facility and reflects our strong, long-term ambition to lead the circular transition in infrastructure and lightweight construction materials”, says Olle Svensk, Managing Director at Hasopor AB.
Installation of the new technology is scheduled to begin in the last quarter of 2026.
